Yes...I am aware of the facts that you mention...but now that data entry is made since long, the ND has no value.
Last year when the EB2 PD's were current for 28 days in August, only those RD's whose data was entered in TSC had chance of getting GC's. In other words, receipts are now generated for all '07 fiasco filers and hence the ND has no value!
That said if a Service Center rep says about the ND replacing the RD in their system, then it is time for corrective action. With these small windows of PD being current, why take chances!

3). I was asking my employer to file for change of status from L-1 to H-1.

5). I was not aware of this and i thought i am legal till september the expiration date on my Visa.

7). Thought i would file for I-140 and I-485 together and found out that my I-94 was expired since September-2006.
What is the best course of action here to remedy my situation??
Any advice or details of a great Immigration lawyer who dealth with such cases before would be of great help.

Sorry but do not want to be a damper... But this thread does not give me the right feeling. I have been a member of IV i think from dec 2005 and contributed quite a few hundered dollars and just like this organization as a simplistic, good non-profit orgnization with good intentions....
But in this thread we see a taunt... which is more like we will not have numbers in DC and then some triades...
So far whenever such type of hate comments are posted, I have noticed that the IV core/ Super moderators either close the threads or blacklist the user....
But in this case we see periodically (i think a couple of times) that super moderators are only making comments that we need to prove numbers so join the rally....
Sorry to say this but i feel either this stage managed ( the triades) or super moderators/ IV core are taking advantage of this thread.... Both I feel are inappropriate....
If I am wrong in what i have stated - My apologies to Supermoderators / IV Core.... But If I am right then I think personally it is a sad day since it lowered the image of IV in front of a great admirer.

I do not want to be involved in faith restored discussion.... I have been in IV for long enough to know about IV... and since i know IV considerbly well... that is the reason i put forward my question in this open forum... Since IV is open organization.... some might prefer it to be PM but i prefer it to be open discussion

Here is the dilemma.... The Idea is great...It can change our lives But if we sit on the idea for long it will rot So DO WE TAKE ACTION or LET US WAIT FOR CORE TO COME UP WITH SOLUTION. I would suggest we form a small committee or group of people who can brainstorm and come up with possible course of actions and then present the idea to core.
This is similar to House->Judiciary committee -> Immigration sub Committee
idea is to analyze the situation and come up with the best solution rather than waiting for
CORE to act on.

I think the priority should be
1. Get country quota out
2. Get Pending EADs sorted per this threads idea
3. Get ammendment to let I485 filing be done after labor been pending for say 6 months...

What you are asking for is not possible as a administrative fix. We cannot go for all or none. In this thread we are concentrating on administrative fix. I was asking a question as to what should be done to people who already got their GC thru Labor Sub, since someone said that all the subs of 2007 should get the I-140 filing date as the priority date. I care only about the present and future. This is what I meant when I asked the question.

i think we are also need to provide some incentive to the government also for doing this,say some nominal fees around 600$ and any one contribute more than that will be tax free which goes into financial bailout package. At the end everyone wins and everyone is happy
