Hi Guys
I want to bring up one point very clearly. Guys there is no one in Washington DC offices talking about the difficulties we are facing other than IV organization members . We need to lobby the lawmakers
3. Donate what ever we can ( 10 , 20 , 30$ etc..) to our cause in IV .

pappu, pls let me know, if u received the fund. Also, one small suggestion, we can just maintain a small excel sheet, to just see who (just the user id and not the actual name) contributed and how much money they contributed just in this campaign. Cos, I hate to say this, I just dont want to be around those who want to have a free ride from all the hard work that IV group is putting in. Please everyone please donate. If you are reading this post, if you have not contributed earlier, please contribute. Dont you want IV to become strong financially when fighting this tough case. They need all the help they can get. I am going to file my h1 application tomorrow under the master's qouta. I know its nearly impossible that my petition would be approved but I have no other choice. I just have one question:
1. Should I go for a premium processing?

I think you need to wait until USCIS finish they Lottery/Sorting process.
At this moment they won't accept your application.

ALLOW EVERYONE TO FILE I485 SHOULD BE OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
You people already have filed 485 and have EAD. EAD gives you so much freedom . It is as good as a green card.
What about people who are less fortunate and cannot file II485. We need to allow everyone to be on the same page first and enjoy EAD freedom.
That should be our priority before any country limits or this thread action item

I decided to move to india now. I have I140 cleared and having a permanent job. But enough is enough!

Please educate every one you meet in your community, friends circle and help others who do not know the laws and risking their kids life.
The thread has been filled up with mixed responses of some threatening, supporting, uncontrollable anger and attacking, don't bother much, as it is a way for ourselves get educated, because most of us here have kids same age as yours.

Good one, Change to workflow should not be an issue, but we should have IV core support and reasonable to pool of money (not peanuts) to make this a success. I would recommend to run a funding drive, specially for this effort once IV core endorses this effort. In day to day life, Everything begins with $, you get what you pay for and nothing is free.

Yup. Make a group, pool the contributions. One member collects the money after making $100 pay pal, google contribution. This concept can be extended to $200 , $500 too, if you can form big enough groups.

The above part of your submission is not true. If you read the I-485 Adjudicator's Manual, you will find that the file is already opened and input into the system at this stage. Otherwise dwhuser would not have received I-797 Notice of Action.
In theory action on a case should be sequenced by priority date and then received date within the priority date batch. However, nobody knows for sure how USCIS works each case.

When I said "file is not opened", I meant that no one has yet reviewed the file. Note that for most cases PD is not a controlling factor. It is only the unfortunate ones from retrogressed countries that they have to wait for PD to be current. For everyone else, once file is reviewed, if all documentation is in order, case is cleared. Once a file is reviewed, if it has to wait for PD to be current, it is placed in sequence of PD. See USCIS SOP on the link below, which even tells what color of paper clip to use, etc. (though it is a bit out of date).

I saw there are 50 replied to this post. Looks like people are more interested in others problems than their own.
Its pity that MOST CRITICAL issue we are facing at present - AC21 Denial issue, is having only 77 mails but everyone is jumping gossipping. Come out of this and show a unity to real problems.
Grow up and don't escape from real problems. Its our problem and we need to fight to resolve it.
